Hotel Review: SP34 - Copenhagen
For team Quill, travel is always a good idea - whether we're eating gelato in a sunny Italian piazza or scouring design shops in Denmark. A recent trip took Quill founder Lucy to Copenhagen, and the hotel was so incredible that we just had to share it with you.
Situated in the Latin Quarter of Copenhagen, the SP34 is a modern 4* hotel. The neon sign provides a cheering welcome as you step into the sleek and spacious lobby - at every turn there is something to inspire or desire.
Decorated in a sophisticated palette of greys, blues and brass that complement the rich wooden interiors, our eye was drawn to the stunning lighting and accessories. Here was a space where every aspect worked together to create an effortlessly minimal and calm atmosphere. No shouting here, just a gentle whisper.
Always on the lookout for interior inspiration, Lucy found endless decor ideas at the SP34. In fact, the hotel's bespoke brass hooks were so dreamy that she tracked them down for her own London home.
If you're looking for a weekend break away, the SP34 will more than meet your needs. Offering a delicious (and organic) breakfast, and with room treats including REN skincare, the hotel is the perfect city bolthole for those seeking some much-needed rest. And with a bar and a cafe in the hotel, there's no need to even set foot outside if you don't fancy it. Should you wish to venture further afield, the hotel is perfectly situated near lots of lovely bars, shops and restaurants.
The Scandi way of life and effortless style is one we love and are now fully converted to! We'll be back...
